CAG is a co-sponsor of this year's May Day March for worker's and immigrent's right's. WE will be performing a non-violent action before the march, planting a flag in a downtown park for every homeless person in the city .
CAG members, all trained in non-violence, served as the official "peacekeepers" during this year's MLK march.
We had a voter registration drive with a goal of 300 peole registered this year. We surpassed our goal on April 14, and are closing in on 400
CAG, working through the SAFE oversight committee, presuaded the city to open a 24 hr. public restroom.
We've worked with the city to conduct several focus groups and forums, allowing our community a voice in decisions affecting them.
